Hnng WIP submission for , just seeing what everything looks like

Name: Samantha Lewis (Sometimes called Sam, though her Flora is also nicknamed Sam, so she tries for Lewis sometimes)
Age: 15
Birthday: May 4
Sexuality: Asexual/Homoromatic
Height: 5'5
Grade: Seedling, 9th Grade

Personality: Samantha is a very nervous individual. She's always been very quick to look down on her own intelligence, personal hobbies and skills, and will not think twice to diss herself to put others above her. Sam actually does love looking up to older girls, though, and how they handle their personal work. She just never believes that she could reach those levels in her lifetime. Sadly her inferiority complex will oftentimes work against her in any scuffles, with just the thought of messing up or missing a target often being the source of her failures.

That's not to say Sam isn't good at anything, though. She is surprisingly above her grade in the math and science areas, thanks to her private schooling, and really loves to practice her singing and painting skills. In fact, Sam can actually get quite engrossed in her hobbies and homework when she keeps to herself. It's simply when others are around or involved that Sam feels like she has to go above and beyond, and often fails. This, unfortunately combined with her dire urge to communicate with others when she can, causes Sam to really put herself in these failing situations.

Background: Samantha was born to a family just borderline between upper class and middle class citizens. Sam lived in an Inner City bed-and-breakfast, where her mother would go out and sing shows at a local theatre, and her father would help research and engineer new technology to help the city prosper more. Her mom, Evangeline, was usually home much more often than her dad, so Samantha came to love her mom much more for teaching her how to sing, reading to her before bed, and helping her discover a lot of the hobbies she came to love.

Sam's father on the other hand, was hardly ever home until after she went to bed. The few times she was able to see her dad in the house were often met with questions about her grades, making Sam very self-concious of how she was doing in school after a while to make her dad happy. Once she was old enough to go to a private middle school, Sam's dad began to pressure her more to do the best in school, increasing his daughter's grade complex until it just started to become unhealthy for her, and outright made it hard for Sam to make friends with the other students.

Sam's life thankfully took a turn for the better when she came back from the last day of middle school one morning, and found her dad waiting for her back home. Apparently her dad, Adam Lewis, never intended to give her so much trouble over her grades. Adam only wanted Sam to do good in school so life in the city would be easier to handle when she grew up, but he didn't know how hard he was pushing his daughter until his wife had an argument with him over it years later. Adam hoped that he could apologize by being home for his daughter more often, and by offering her a shot at applying to what sounded like the most inviting and peaceful high school he could think of.

Samantha had been very weepy-eyed over the entire conversation, and came to accept the chance to school at Mahou Fiori to better herself. She still keeps in touch with her family to this day, being quick to send back letters her worried parents send her at least once a week.

Trivia:
-Samantha has a fear of snakes, and will usually go out of her way to avoid the slithery creatures
-Her mask emits a slight aroma that attracts butterflies, bees and other insects. This has made Sam surprisingly less afraid of the crawlies
